Peter Neal is head of public space at CABE and has led the national enabling programme for CABE Space since its inception in 2003. 

Having studied landscape architecture at both Manchester and Harvard, he has worked with the ROMA Design Group in San Francisco, the master planning consultancy EDAW and The Prince’s Foundation on a wide variety of environmental planning, urban regeneration and public space projects.

He recently completed a secondment to the Olympic Delivery Authority to help guide the planning and design the Olympic Park for London 2012. 

He has edited ‘Urban Villages and the making of communities’ (2003) that covers the design and delivery of sustainable mixed-use communities and contributed to ‘The Cultured Landscape’ (2005) both published by Taylor & Francis.
