Martin has worked for Lewisham Council for over 25 years - 15 of them in housing management, and now 10 in Project Management. In this latter role he has been involved in a number of public realm and open space projects, ranging from small park improvements through to major multi £ million programmes.
Martin was the lead officer for the development and delivery of the multi award winning Cornmill Gardens in Lewisham Town Centre – the first of a number of new open spaces planned for the town centre.
Martin is currently leading on the North Lewisham Links programme, which aims to improve a number of routes between existing, and planned, places of interest in the borough. Simultaneously he is also working on a £2m refurbishment of Ladywell Fields in Catford.
Martin has a BA Hons degree in 3D Design specialising in Ceramics and has qualifications in Project and Programme Management.
